Roulette rules

Roulette is a mechanical system aimed at randomly generating a number between 0 and 36. This randomization is guaranteed by two dynamic systems that rotate circularly in opposite directions:

  • a boule (ball,  once made of ivory, today it is more often made of synthetic material: resin or Teflon) launched by a croupier or possibly by a mechanical system.
  • a rotor or cylinder on which 37 pockets are housed, hosting the 37 numbers in an apparently random way. The rotor is made to spin in the opposite direction to that of the boule by the croupier (or by a computerized mechanical mechanism)

Below are the combinations on which you can bet and the related payment in case of victory:

SECTORS

Les voisins du zéro , neighbors of 0, are a series of 17 numbers located on the cylinder to the right and left of zero between 22 and 25 inclusive, they are played with 9 chips. The numbers are 0-2-3, 4-7, 12-15, 18-21, 19-22, 25-26-28-29, 32-35 with two chips on the triplet 0-2-3 and on the square 25 -29.

Tiers , serious, 12 numbers are played with 6 chips on 6 horses, the numbers are 5-8, 10-11, 13-16, 23-24, 27-30, 33-36, and are located on the cylinder, opposite way to the "neighbors of zero".

Orphelins , orphans, not part of either of the two previous sectors, are the 8 remaining numbers, i.e. 1, 6-9, 14-17, 17-20, 31-34 (1 full, the others on horseback), and yes They are played with 5 chips.

BLACK: numbers 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 - 11 - 13 - 15 - 17 - 20 - 22 - 24 - 26 - 28 - 29 - 31 - 33 - 35.

Pair ou Impair , , odd or even numbers: 1x stake

Manque ou Passe , numbers from 1 to 18 or from 19 to 36: 1 time the stake

If 0 is rolled, all bets (except those including 0) are losers. An exception is represented by simple chances (red/black, even/odd, short/pass). In case of a 0, the player can choose between two possibilities:

1) en prison : can leave the mail in prison for the next heist. That is, it is left on the chance on which it was bet, but placed on the external line and is returned, without a win if on the next spin a number belonging to the bet bet comes up. Otherwise, this bet is lost and is forfeited by the dealer.

2) partager:  the player can ask for partager, i.e. he can ask for an immediate refund of half of the bet, without waiting for the next shot to come out.

The two solutions are almost equivalent for the player: to be precise, the partager is still worth it (in the case of en prison the bet is subjected to the risk of a new 0: in this case the bet is further imprisoned, only two consecutive exits of the chance played they will free her)
